cut-outs & trees (2010 – 2011)
cut-outs & trees is a make belief forest to dance oneself into. Uncertain figures moving about, amongst and behind. In between trees and shadows, they fall into a thrill. And off they go, stumble and crawl, tiptoe and roll, bundle up in a pile, spread apart, leap and run, lie quietly down, rest for a while. Carefully, one move after the next, by ragbags of shapes, dancing dwells into choreography, inside and about, close to and away from one another.
