In the central part of Stockholm at körsbärsvägen lies ccap’s working space with an office, two dance studios, dressing rooms with showers, a kitchen, and a big foyer. In the studios ccap runs its training, rehearsals, seminars, laboratories and other activities.

The space is also inhabited by a wide variety of artists from the fields of visual arts and choreography. Local, national and international colleagues and guests are invited to work in residence and/or to run their own practices, publicly or not, and by that to partake in and contribute to the development and implementation of the artistic discourse of ccap. Occasionally, the space is rented to institutions such as the City Theater, Dance Alliance, Theater Alliance etc., and to independent parties such as Klein technique training, Feldenkrais courses etc.

The space at Körsbärsvägen is accessible with wheelchair. It has wide doors, no thresholds, a ramp at the entrance and into the large dance studio, and an accessible WC. Regretfully, the venue does not provide a hearing loop or resources for vision diverseness.

space / Hallen i Farsta

Hallen i Farsta is a 650 square meter large hall in the district of Farsta, south of Stockholm. A hall which ccap has transformed into a public space for social intra-actions through art. Hallen i Farsta sustains long-term and recurring performing periods by ccap as well as local, national and international artistic collaborators and guests. It hosts various residencies, rehearsals and working processes, and presents guest performances and other events such as festivals, concerts, courses, seminars and symposia. Hallen i Farsta collaborates with artists run organizations and individual artists, whom are all welcomed to proliferate their practices into the hall.

The purpose of Hallen i Farsta is to implement today’s choreography in terms of sustainability and immediate access, through continuous dismantlement and immediate regain. Hallen i Farsta provides and promotes uncharted formats for the experiences of art, for a multitude of audiences. All events are free of charge. Thus, it differs from other dance institutions and organizations in Stockholm, to which it adds a relevant supplement.

The space is accessible with wheelchair. There’s an elevator and a large toilet (at this point unfortunately without arm support). Regretfully, the venue does not provide a hearing loop or resources for vision diverseness.

The Hall is co-produced with AGAB.

space / rental

Throughout the year ccap’s studio can be rented to choreographers, dancers, artists, institutions, organisations etc. We are renting out the studio both occasional hours and days as well as by the week. It is also possible to have  reoccurring bookings throughout a semester. The large studio is 15 x 9 meters with a ceiling height of 3.8 – 4,6 meters and is equipped with a dance floor (shoes are therefore forbidden). ccap is wheelchair accessible and equipped with two dressing rooms with showers and a kitchen.

The studio is suitable for rehearsals, workshops, classes, seminars or courses. We apply a sliding scale pricing, through which artists and practitioners unaffiliated with institutions or with small scale budgets can be offered a subsidized rate.

For more information about renting, price and booking, contact info@ccap.se

Please include a short description of the project and yourself, the desired period for renting as well as the expected amount of participants.

Example of your sliding scale pricing 2022/2023, prices for week-ends differ:

LARGE STUDIO KÖRSBÄRSVÄGEN
Institutions and commercial organizations: 1150 – 755 SEK/hour
Semi-institutions, organizations and others with a stabile budget: 755 – 455 SEK/hour
Non-institutional workshops, classes, with participation fees: 605 – 290 SEK/hour
Non-profit organizations or individuals for rehearsals: 455 – 290 SEK/hour

Furthermore, ccap offers residences to artists, writers, dancers, choreographers and other cross-border actors and projects that need a place where the focus of the work is on the process rather than the product. ccap also provides a place for projects and public associations that pursue artistically and politically relevant discourses, or share the same trust in alternative exchange economies. We are interested in, and open to, various forms of close or mutual collaborations, experiments or associations – especially initiatives that arouse critical thinking, interactivity or alternative forms of knowledge production.
